"Freigesprochen" ist eine Geschichte über Schuld und Lüge: In einem kleinen Ort löst der Kuss des korrekten Fahrdienstleiters Thomas Hudetz und der Studentin Anna ein furchtbares Zugsunglück aus, das viele Leben auslöscht und gleichzeitig das Leben aller Beteiligten aus den Fugen geraten lässt.
